This database is the only comprehensive online index and full-text resource covering scholarly and popular periodical literature in Black Studies.
The International Index to Black Periodicals Full Text includes current and retrospective bibliographic citations and abstracts from 150 scholarly and popular journal from the United States, Africa, and the Caribbean, and full-text coverage of over 42 core Black Studies periodicals.
Coverage includes over 193,000 citations from a growing collection of over 156 publications, with backfile records dating back to 1902. IIBP Full Text is expanding, with more international content and full-text titles being added.
Coverage is not only international in scope but also multidisciplinary--spanning cultural, economic, historical, religious, social, and political issues of vital importance to the Black Studies discipline. The source list was prepared with the guidance of a distinguished advisory board of librarians specializing in Black Studies.
